Courtney Price is the owner and creator of Glamour Avenue Parties (based in Houston, TX) – and she’s a mom to 3 year old little Aidan! Her business provides children’s party decor and she also does mobile spa parties for girls (how fun!?). Courtney shares how she is able to run a successful business and be home as much as possible with her little boy. I love how her business also allows her to spend time with children and make them feel special and pampered with a spa party!
My husband and recently took a trip to Bermuda (it was our honeymoon in fact!) and we really fell in love with the island. I have been there several times, and this was my husband’s first time there. Going back to Bermuda is always like being there for the first time as I never quite remember how bright the blue water is, how pink the soft sand is and how perfectly warm the air is every morning, noon and night.
Meet Kristin Austin, a WAHM and the designer and stylist behind Paige Simple Studio. Kristin worked in the corporate world before she had her son and soon after she had him, Kristin and her husband realized the demands of her corporate job was not a good fit for their family. Kristin decided to start her own business from home and Paige Simple was born! Paige Simple offers pretty party printables ranging from invitations, announcements, stationery, gifts, and printable party decorations. Kristin has styled many parties and has been featured on Pizzazzerie, Hostess with the Mostess, Kara’s Party Ideas and many other sites! Kristin was one of my first “big” clients when I started Sugar Studios and she has not only become a repeat customer, but a friend and colleague I can trust and bounce ideas off of.

One of the most fun parts I had in planning our wedding was the wedding cake table. I knew I wanted a simple and chic wedding cake and I was totally inspired by a photo I found of Whole Food’s signature berry chantilly cake. The cake topper was one of the first things I purchased for our wedding. I came across the shop Better of Wed on Etsy and purchased it immediately!
One of the most requested WordPress plugins for me is the Pin to Pinterest plugin, which allows users to hover over images on your blog and a pin to Pinterest button appears over the image. This allows readers to quickly and easily pin images within your posts to Pinterest. The default image that comes with the plugin is fine – however it looks even better to customize the image to match your site.
One of the first crafts I planned for our Country Chic rustic theme wedding was a wedding favor that would be homemade by me and my husband. I came across a tutorial for homemade vanilla extract and fell in love with the idea! Who doesn’t use vanilla extract? My husband and I enjoy cooking together so I figured it would be the perfect favor that we could enjoy making together.
