You may have heard about the website creation tool called Showit and how easy it is to create a website that stands out. I’ve been using Showit for almost 5 years and I’m here to give you my honest review to help you decide if Showit is right for you.

With Showit, you can create a truly unique website design that stands out from others. That’s why people like Jenna Kutcher and Amy Porterfield chose Showit to create the website for their 7-figure businesses.

What You Should Know Before Deciding to Use Showit?
As a Showit Design Partner, I’ve built a lot of websites for clients. Here are some of the things you may want to know before you decide to use Showit for your business website:
You must have your own domain and have it point to Showit’s servers Showit does not sell domains and it is not included in your monthly payment. You’ll need to purchase a domain through GoDaddy or any domain registrar.
A blog is not included in the most basic Showit subscription Showit offers three tiers for hosting. In order to have a WordPress blog, you’ll need to choose the second (Basic Blog) or third tier (Advanced Blog).
If you cancel your Showit account, you will lose your website. LIke many website builders including Showit, Squarespace and Wix, your website cannot be moved or transfered to another host since your website was built using their proprietary software. You do own your domain and can start a new website with any host you choose.
You’ll need to keep your eyes on your mobile site. With Showit, you have the ability to customize your desktop site and your mobile site, which is allows total creative freedom. However, any update you make to your desktop site, may not look how you want it to on the mobile site, so you’ll need to keep a close eye on your mobile website to make sure the layout is correct.
Showit was not built for ecommerce While you can add ecommerce to your Showit website with embedded buy buttons using cart software like Shopify Starter, ThriveCart, FloDesk, SamCart and many others – Showit was not built with ecommerce in mind. If you have an online store with hundreds of products, you may want to consider using Shopify to create your entire website.
Is Showit Hard to Learn?
A lot of people wonder if Showit is easy to use. I think it all depends on how willing you are to become familiar with a new interface. I know Showit like the back of my hand, and with enough practice you will too. The support over at Showit is awesome and you’ll always speak with a real person who will explain everything to you in an easy to understand way.
To Sum It All Up
The Showit website creator is ideal for almost any type of business. I think Showit stands out from other website builders like Squarespace, Wix and WordPress because of the ability to create a truly unique design that will impress your audience.
If you’re looking to level up your website presence or launch your first website like a total pro, I highly recommend you give Showit a try!
