One of the key elements to building a brand is to be of service to others.
This means sharing tips, ideas and inspiration.
You can do this either by sharing directly with a potential client or with your audience through your website, blog or social media accounts.
Sharing information that helps people shows how valuable you are. What might seem like a basic tip to you, may mean the world to your audience.
I’ve done this through my blog, my Instagram posts and on Facebook in some of the groups I belong to.
Here are some ideas on how you can be of service to others and build an authentic brand.
- Offer a free quiz
- Create a free PDF worksheet
- Write a series of useful tips
- Share inspirational quotes and sayings
- Write a blog post about something a lot of other people struggle with
- Repeatedly tell your story about how you overcame something and share how you did it
The easiest way to add value to your brand, and build trust with your followers is to share information.
I promise, you have something important to share.
Do not let thoughts like “I might sound dumb saying this”, “Everyone already knows this”, “No one is going to listen to me” or “Who am I to give advice?” stop you from sharing!
