🎉 Update for 2026: ThriveCart has introduced a 30-day free trial and affordable monthly pricing, making it easier than ever to get started. If you still prefer the original one-time lifetime payment, that’s available too! I’ve updated this review throughout the article to reflect the latest pricing and features.
What is ThriveCart?
You may have heard other business owners raving about ThriveCart, but what exactly is it? I felt the same way a few years ago. I saw so many business owners in Facebook groups swearing by ThriveCart. Since so many people were talking about it, I knew I had to check it out.
So what exactly is ThriveCart and how is it different from other platforms?
ThriveCart is a high-converting sales tool that includes a customized checkout experience. ThriveCart was built and designed to utilize the most powerful sales techniques to capture a sale at checkout.
Unlike a standard checkout experience with a platform like Shopify, ThriveCart works harder and smarter to capture the sale so your customer not only enjoys their checkout experience, but feels confident are buying a trustworthy product.
What Are Some of the Benefits of ThriveCart?
Flexible Pricing Options Whether you’re just getting started or ready to invest for the long haul, ThriveCart now offers a 30-day free trial, affordable monthly pricing, and a lifetime option. Start with the plan that fits your business today—and upgrade whenever you’re ready.
Customize your cart page for each product You can fully customize your shopping cart experience for each individual product! This includes adding testimonials, upsells, graphics, video and any elements that will help you close the sale on your high-ticket item. This is an amazing feature you can’t get with other cart software.
Create funnels/upsells With ThriveCart you can create your own funnels which include upsells and downsells. Never miss an opportunity for a sale by offering additional products at checkout, upgraded memberships and bonus items.
Earn money as an affiliate Once you purchase ThriveCart, you can recommend it to other business owners and earn a 50% commission.
Create your own affiliate program With ThriveCart you can create your own affiliate program and reward people for sharing your products.
Create courses ThriveCart has now added a feature to create your own courses. Within Learn you can create multiple courses, modules and lessons. You can give your students access to the entire course, or create a drip-feed.
Create payment plans If you’re selling a high-ticket item, ThriveCart allows you to create payment plans for your customer. You can offer split payments for any of your products.
Amazing customer service ThriveCart has awesome support. They’ve helped me with a few integration issues I had with Convertkit, they respond quickly and helped resolve the issue right away.
What Are Some of the downsides of ThriveCart?
The checkout only allows for 1 product If you plan to sell more than one product, this could be a major downside. ThriveCart only allows you to add one item to your cart. You can however add upsells which will allow the customer to add another item of your choice to their cart.
It’s not great for physical products While you can sell physical products for shipment with ThriveCart, your customer won’t have the ability to add multiple products at checkout. ThriveCart is always making enhancements so that may change in the future. We recommend Shopify for selling physical goods.
How Much Does ThriveCart Cost?
ThriveCart now offers a 30-day free trial, making it easier than ever to get started. After your trial, you can continue for $47/month or upgrade to the one-time lifetime plan if you’d rather own your platform outright and avoid ongoing subscription costs.
Whether you’re launching your first digital product or running an established business, you can choose the option that best fits your budget today—and upgrade to lifetime whenever you’re ready.
Is ThriveCart Worth The Money?
In my opinion, yes—especially if you plan to sell digital products for years to come.
I’ve been using ThriveCart for years because it’s simple to set up, easy to customize, and packed with features that help increase sales. From order bumps and upsells to affiliates and automations, it’s become an essential part of my business.
One of my favorite features is the ability to add order bumps at checkout. A large percentage of my customers add an additional product before completing their purchase, and I know those extra sales have significantly increased my revenue over time.
While the lifetime plan felt like a big investment at first, it’s paid for itself many times over. Compared to paying $47 every month, the one-time lifetime option can save you hundreds—if not thousands—of dollars over the years.
The best part? You don’t have to make that decision today. ThriveCart now offers a 30-day free trial and an affordable monthly plan, so you can start selling with very little risk. If you decide it’s the right platform for your business, you can always upgrade to lifetime later.
If you’re serious about selling digital products for the long term, I still believe the lifetime plan is one of the smartest investments you can make.
How To Find a Coupon Code For ThriveCart
If you’re searching for a ThriveCart coupon code, you’re not alone! While ThriveCart doesn’t regularly offer public coupon codes, they do run special promotions from time to time—including discounts on their lifetime plan and other limited-time offers.
The best way to save is to start with their 30-day free trial and keep an eye out for seasonal promotions or special pricing events. If ThriveCart is running a current offer, I’ll keep this page updated with the latest details.
