My New Life (Post Pregnancy Update)

Wow my life has really changed since my last blog post. I’m now a mother to a beautiful baby boy, Ryan Henry Smith. He was born on St. Patrick’s day – one day after his due date. I won’t bore you with the gory details but my pregnancy and labor was actually amazing and I can not wait to do it again (I know I sound nuts, you can smack me).

One thing that hasn’t changed? My passion for entrepreneurship and design. Having a child has motivated me even more as a boss mom.

I quietly started working again in early May, wrapping up a blog redesign for The Speckled Palate. Once the word was out I was back my schedule filled up quickly. It was such a great feeling to be back to work and it felt so empowering to also be able to juggle motherhood at the same time (insert pat on the back here).

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Sugar Studios and for our little family.
